Endemic to Hawaiian waters, the nohu is famously difficult to find as it blends into the reefscape. This fish is about 18 inches in length. Scientific name is Scorpaenopsis cacopsis.
I spotted this pufferfish sleeping at night with a nudibranch tucked under his chin.
